welcome to the weekend...

i have never been so excited for a weekend to arrive!  after 2 days of "house arrest" as we are calling it, i was so pumped about having ben home with me.  while he was working away from anywhere from mcminnville to woodbury to murfreesboro on thursday and friday, i was at home trying to invent things to do!

i made a to-do list on wednesday night after our doctor's appointment.  by the early afternoon on thursday, everything on that list was done ya'll! after conquering my list of tasks, i flip flopped between horrible daytime tv and surfing the internet....and that was fun for about an hour or two!

i swear, i could be a daytime soap opera star.  all they do is flit around make-believe towns and stare each other down until the next round of commercials begin.  now, i wouldn't look too "ooh-lah-lah" right now frolicking around in those lingerie numbers that they often wear but minus that, you could botox me up and i'd be ready to rally with those awful actors and actresses i attempted to watch.  their acting about made me vomit in my mouth...

now, i'm really trying not to sound like "poor, pitiful, preggo princess".  i know there are MANY women that find themselves on true bedrest early into their second trimesters.  to those women, i truly must lift a glass (of my yummy Horizon milk:) and say bravo!  i truly don't know how you did it.  i am not even on actual bedrest at all.  i was just given the words of wisdom to try and do nothing.  knowing that each day these little ones stay put is a great hurdle we've passed towards well-baby nursery land, i am willing to do whatever.

these twins could pop out in an hour.....a day....a week.  who knows?!  i just hope i have my legs shaved and my hair washed when we go but it's too much of an effort to do both of those activities each and every day!  i might even squeeze in an occasional eye brow tweezing with my hot pink tweezerman tweezers if i'm lucky!
