well, to answer the question "do you guys know the babies' names?".........the answer is not quite yet. do we talk about names now? yes. do we like certain names over others? yes. do we have the full names wrapped up nice and neatly in a package with a bow ready to go? not so much.
some of our friends have names they have loved forever. others have met little ones and decided that those children were so precious, they'd want to name their own that name one day. others have fabulous family names that they adore & that they consider a "given" when naming their little son or daughter.
we decided that we should share some of our heritage we have come across throughout this process with you. feel free to use a beautiful name from the following list. though lovely, we will not be using them in naming our pair of parsleys...

Whatever you name them their names will be precious and so will they!

ReplyDeleteMaggie, such a precious blog! I'm enjoying your thoughts so much and am keeping you and your sweet family in my prayers. About comments from stupid people, just wait. I would have infants, Josh and Ben out in a twin stroller, dressed identically, and of course, they looked just alike, were the same size, etc. and those common-sense-impaired people would say, "Are they twins?" I wanted to roll my eyes, and say, "No, stupid person, I had them 2 mos. apart!" My mother would get embarrassed that I had no patience with these morons, but, alas, I usually held my tongue and smiled. But we as teachers already know there needs to be Clorox added to the gene pool, so we learn to deal as best we can. Take care, sweet girl, and know that you are dearly blessed! Oh, and by the way, if you have great-grandparents, they will expect "rhyming twin names". Jim's grandmother thought my name choices were awful. I should have followed her lead - she named her twins Eva Dell and Bessie Nell! LOL! Can't wait to see you on the 27th!
