paradise...

i could literally post 10-20 posts about my recent vacay.  oh where, oh where to begin?

a dear friend of mine stumbled upon the love of her life last year.  after a pretty-much-perfect courtship together, they got engaged in december.  the planner-to-the-stars bride immediately got her wedding set...in gorgeous Hawaii.  this trip to turned out to be my first to travel a)without my hubby and b)without my babies.  it was super-hard to leave them (just ask ben about my meltdown en route to the airport).  however, once the plane was ascending and the trip began to unfold, hawaii and i were a match made in aloha heaven!

i am NOT a world traveler.  just ask my closest girlfriends...a trip down I-24 to nashville can, at time, turn into a debacle if i am not careful:)  being consciously aware of my lack of stamps in my passport, i was afraid i wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings of kona, hawaii.  i am thrilled to report i was wrong.

from great company to great ambiance to great eats...everything was perfection.  i have seen and realized many of god's wonders, but as cheesy as it sounds this haven is definitely atop of the list thus far.  one of the girls talked about how it was amazing to see how the water and land "met" when flying in and out...so true!  how in the world does god craft all of the beauty hawaii???

keeping with the natural beauty of the island was the beautiful bride herself.  she left no stone unturned.  the welcome bags, perfect.  the snappy labels on each and every thing associated with the wedding, perfectionism at its finest.  the dress, a little piece of hawaiian-white paradise.  everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, was just too darn good to be true.

it was an amazing 5-day trip that was filled with great memories. while my heart and soul were in murfreesboro, smiles & laughter were definitely 24/7 in hawaii!

aloha......for now.....
