annual holiday came and went; however, i was in such a sleep-deprived, survival state that i don't have wonderful, warm & fuzzy memories of my first halloween as a mommy.
| wow...do NOT recall this moment one bit, ya'll! |
this year, however, was a day FULL of fun for us. i loaded the babies up and took them downtown to see their daddy. actually, i took them to the square for their daddy to show his little ones off. i swear, ben had me dragging our little creatures in every office he could possibly justify toting them into! he was so proud...and the babies knew it!
after a good, long nap we were off to mom and dad's. minnie and tully were surrounded by dear family friends and family members that just gobbled their cuteness right up. from playing outside to touching every halloween decoration in sight, they evidently loved their sea creature alter-egos because they never fussed about their get-ups one bit!
while we were all exhausted by the day's end, we couldn't find a negative aspect at all about our day. they babies were happy. we were happy....and we were able to EXPERIENCE that happiness and soak it all in. i am so very thankful for my little fishy and pinchy lobster....oh how we love them so!

Love these pictures -- just precious!
