mission thanksgiving = complete

whew!  i always knew the holidays would be different with little ones.  instead of worrying about which items to get second helpings of, i barely made it to the food an hour after most were done!  i can barely even recall what i ate.  seriously.  my, oh, my thanksgiving will never ever be the same as it once was.

in the past, ben and i would start our thanksgiving by a little before noon and the holiday celebration would literally stretch into the evening.  our day was a conglomeration of family, food, football...well, i guess anything that started with an "f".

this year, our day was planned around our babies.  their nursing schedule determined when we got there.  their diaper changes determined when we could snag a little bit of normal conversation.  the twins' happiness dictated how long those conversations would last!  as you can see, ben and i were not involved in this year's thanksgiving equation one bit....but i think that's the way it is supposed to be!

our little turkeys made it through all of the hugs, kisses, and love that was showered upon them.  they survived the day MUCH better than their mommy and daddy.  we....were....pooped!

  2. Hi Maggie - the twins are cute, cute, cute! The website for printing blogs that I mentioned when I saw you and Ben at Newks (WEEKS ago and I'm just now remembering to tell you!) is Blog2print.com. Enjoy your little turkeys!
