1st trimester: complete

Our first trimester has come to an end! I can't believe it. Well, I simply cannot believe much of anything these days. It is 100% safe for me to say that I have truly, truly lost my marbles. One minute, I'm putting milk in the cabinet and cereal in the refrigerator. The next minute, I am walking into school and realizing my car door is open and my car is still running (actually, that was Ben's car that day...ooops, husband, so sorry). Amidst all of these momentary lapses of thought, I am obviously the most in awe of our gift of getting these precious babies to 12 weeks of life!

I don't have any ultrasounds to show off. I don't have any big news on me and how I've been feeling. I can tell you, however, these babies love drinking milk and eating apples with cheese cubes. From the outside looking in (believe it or not), our lives appear so unchanged. Maybe that reflection is why we still believe it but we can't totally grasp our news of expecting twins.

I simply write this little update to say: God got us here, and He is too,too good. He is making every little part of these tee-tiny people (who are each now the size of a plum) each and every day. The past year & a half were so hard, but this is simply so fun. Happy 12-week birthday, babies!
